I’m currently sitting in my bathroom with blood on my face wondering how my life ended up here. As you know I recently tried a menstrual cup last week and fell in love. When I would remove the cup I would look at the blood and (this sounds weird) I felt so powerful. Like it just radiated power I didnt know what to do with them, but I wanted to do something. Maybe put them in plants or something I don’t know but then I stumbled upon a woman who put period blood on her face so I had to try this version of the Blood Facial.
A la Kim Kardashian famous blood facial its packed with stem cells and yummy skin benefitting nutrients. However it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Kim’s facial was with her own blood that was cleaned and processed. Blood creates a healthy glow and improving hydration while helping improve collagen and elasticity. Typically Blood facial better known as Vampire facial is extracted from the body then filtered however, with Period facial however is straight from the source. If you have a STI/STD like herpes and you put period blood on your you can transfer the disease to your face. So if you want to try it know your status and get tested.
I was nervous to do it,like its flipping period blood! I was finally in a grooming mood where I wanted to pamper myself like I used to. With a deep inhale I applied it to my face. It was very cold and watering thank god for brushes! Once it was on I felt like the freaking blood countess you couldn’t tell me NOTHING! I left it on for about 10 – 20 minutes then rinsed.
Y’all my face is glowing, glowing like I only need tinted moisturizer cause my skin is flawless glowing. I rinsed with lukewarm water and then applied my serum and moisture. Looking in the mirror I was shook I want to but this all over my body and just treat my body to the benefits. I see why the blood countess bathed in this stuff. I dont know how often I’ll do this, it just you know keeping blood, but my skin does look pretty fly right now. Again if you’re gonna try it understand the risks and make sure you’re good. I can only tell you my experience I do not reccomend this there is NO scientific evidence to show that menstrual blood has any skin benefitting effects. So try at your own risk.
