What To Do When People Are ‘Trying’ You

When your coworkers get to clingy, annoying, etc it gets to the point where people are trying you. If you’re not familiar with that term it’s when people keep getting on your nerves or keep saying or doing little things like you won’t go off. Moment like this you really have to calm down and reevaluate a few things. Maybe its the moon? Who knows but I do know what to do when people are getting testy.

Working in customer service people try you constantly. They think you cant say what you want to, because they think the customer comes first. News flash you don’t especially when if you’re trying to get a discount. Or when you’re at the repair shop and they keep trying to upsell you on stuff your car doesn’t need. Theres many times you need to take a chill pill. Here’s how I usually find my peace.

Can I phone A Friend?..

Call someone (usually my mom) and vent out frustration and make sure you’re not over reacting. I often get hangry so the slightest thing can irritate me and I begin to get a bit irrational. So call a friend vent a bit maybe they can shed some light on the situation. If they’re a good friend you’ll atleast get a laugh out of the situation.

Take A Walk..

Sometimes you need to remove yourself from the situation. Go for a walk. Stop talking about it for the time being maybe readdress it later when you’ve chilled a bit.

WOOOO-SAAAAHH

Breathe. Just breath in positive energy and release any tension in your neck, legs, etc relax a bit. Try to think about the situation and reevaluate it.

Eat Something…

That’s more for me than anyone else. If you are a hangry person then definitely eat something. Wait 10 minutes and see how you feel.

Go The F*** Awf!

Ok sometimes people deserves to be cussed out or taken down a peg. As long as you’re not going off on someone for doing their job, go for it. Just make sure you’re still responsible and respectful, state your point then move on.
