Thoughts On: The Body Shop Drops of Youth

I’m all about loving yourself through skincare. When I went to Ulta the other day I was looking for a chemical peel. Usually, I use Ole Hendriksen Power Peel, I used it for years and I swear by it. However, The Body Shop might have them beat by a bit. Based on the sales associate’s recommendation for the Body shop Drops of Youth I grabbed it.

The Body Shop’s Drops of Youth is an all natural chemical peel. It uses plant stem cells to remove all that gross dead skin. If you’re someone who likes to see your the junk come out your skin this is for you.

To use the peel you’ll take about two pumps on your finger tips and rub it all over your face. After a few seconds of rubbing you’ll see little ball of dead skin roll up on the skin. I had a ton when I first used it. It’s not a favorite feature of mine but I have to admit it’s cool too see.

My dead skin rolling off

Its recommended you use the peel 2 -3 week. Since my skin was becoming dry (season change) I dont use use it that often. When I tried to my skin got very dry, so I dont. My skin did start to glow and my break out did fade in like a few days. I’m not mad at the product its definitely a product I’d get again if I need a peel but it’s not something that I’ll rush out to get. Its just the little balls plus I always prefer something that sits on the face like a mask??‍♀️.

What do you guys think? Would you try this mask, what’s your go to?
