The Best Way To Protect Your Energy

The Best Way To Protect Your Energy

With everything in life not even right now but just stuff can be so draining. If you’re like me you’re very sensitive to the vibes other people bring around. I can sense when people are tired, annoyed, getting mad, or straight-up sad. If you’re like this ( and it’s not your anxiety) than you’re probably an empath you can read people’s emotions and sometimes even their thoughts. You can connect easily to people and sometimes it’s exhausting. Feeling all those different emotions can take a lot out of you, even if you’re not an empath and you come across people who are draining or you have a demanding hectic life. So many things can drain you and attack your energy. In order to be your best self and remain calm cool and collected you have to protect yourself and your energy from things that can damage it I’ll show you how.

Protect your energy.

This is a very basic guide to show you some different ways to protect yourself from negative vibes and energy in your space. These worked for me and hopefully, it’ll work for you as well.

Create a sacred place

My apartment is my scared space. When I’m out and about and hear loud kids screaming, terrible drivers, or just that annoying coworker I think about my apartment. I think about my dog waking up from a nap wagging his tail to see me while classical music plays in the background and how serene that is to me. You might not have the benefit of having an entire apartment to you but even if you create your bedroom or your bathroom into your special place you go to escape it all it will do a wonders for your mental health.

Focus On People’s Actions not Their Words

There’s a quote that has been going around the web it says ” If he would have, he would have by now.” Don’t let what people say get you all hot and bothered and wrapped up in your world. Words are cheap actions take effort don’t get confused or lost by false words only believe what you can see and what you can feel.

Don’t Do Anything In The Dark That You Would Hate To Come To Light

Secrets have a way to come back and bite you. When I was younger I thought I had a ton of secrets from those I could trust, and I couldn’t and it ended up with a lot of blackmail but had I not tried to keep secrets I would have a lot less stress and a lot less trauma. If you wouldn’t be comfortable with people finding out about it don’t do it.

Stop Having Other People In Your Business

It’s fine to update friends n your business if you really just want to share but it’s not too good to have a lot of hands in your pot. Keep your circle small and your friend group even smaller. Everyone isn’t wishing you well.

Learn To Love Yourself

Possibly the best piece of advice I could give anyone is to learn to love yourself. It’s not easy but you have to understand you’re going to make mistakes, you’re going to make an ass of yourself and there’s gonna be days where you look rough. It’s ok you’re human. Focus on something you enjoy pet your dog, watch a favorite show, or take a bubble bath. On your best days tell yourself you’re hot, give yourself a round of applause, and treat yourself, even if you do it a bit too much it’s OK you are worth everything and more.

Your energy is sacred don’t let other people come in and disrupt it. So many things are out of your control the only thing you can protect is you so do your very best ya’ll. See you later.
