5 Ways Recharge Your Social Battery
I like going out and laughing having it a good time, but sometimes just being around people is to much. It sounds crazy but if you’re introverted you get it. You just don’t have the social bug extroverts have but even the most social butterfly needs to rest her wings. How though? Especially if your idea of relaxing is out with friends? Don’t worry here’s how.
Lay a little longer in bed. If it’s a Sunday and your to do lists are (sorta) done it’s ok to lay in bed listening to music or reading your favorite blog for a few minutes. Even if you just lay there basking in the sun go for it, start your day slow it’s called self care.
Reading a good book, or listening. I’m not a huge reader like I should be but, I do listen to a lot of stories whether I’m driving or just doing things in the house. I honestly find it more entertaining than music some times because I can get lost in the story while mindlessly washing dishes.
Binge watch your favorite shows. I mean it goes without saying, bingeing is fun and usually after you’ve watched TV for 8 hours straight you’re ready to do something a bit more productive.
Indulge in skin care. Try some new products and tools and get in those pores you’ve been complaining about, you’ll feel better and be better.
Get out. Doesn’t matter what you do but sometimes you don’t want to be out the house. So get out and go to that thrift store you’ve been wanting to go to, try that new restaurant, or go for a walk, it can be relaxing.
